Marine Harvest Japan is looking for Plant Manager at Kansai.

■Hiring background: 
The position, plant manager is responsible for total management of seafood processing plant ( Izumisano, Osaka, Japan ). Through total plant management, expected to achieve business objectives and goals such as production volume, quality, delivery, talent development, cost and profit. As a playing manager, handling of supervision of daily operation as well as leading solution by identifying existing/potential challenge. 
Kansai plan is processing plant and shipping fresh salmon to domestic customers, which is exported from Norway by air. 
Kansai plant was established in 2013, there are lots of challenges for further growth. The biggest challenge is to lead improvement every items / area from processing line to food manufacturing plant. Main improvement areas are : 1) profit increase by productivity improvement, 2) talent & team development, 3) building & brushing up of existing safety programs. 
・Reporting to Japan country head as well as Asia Processing Director in Singapore 
・Managing team : 10 permanent employees including assistant manager, about 50 processing operators ( part timers ) 
■Role & responsibility: 
・Estimate and implement required resources ( people, equipment, other capex. ) 
・Review processing processes, equipment, staffing and other factors, leading expansion of capability and productivity. 
・Increase organizational performance through employee development 
・EHS management 
■Mandatory Qualifications: 
・Manager experience for 5 years or more in a plant 
・Experience & knowledge of Japanese standard of food safety, quality requirements for CSV.
・Business level Japanese & English ( Please write your CV in both of Japanese & English )
■Recommended Qualifications; 
・Experience of food plant (perishable foodstuff plus) 
・Any experience/knowledge of Production/Quality control/Quality assurance / Production engineering 
・EHS activities 
・Collaboration with overseas team
