Marine Harvest supplies healthy, delicious and sustainably farmed salmon and processed seafood to more than 70 markets worldwide.  In 2017 harvest volumes of salmon were 370,000 tonnes (GWT). 
Our processing activities take place in their own specialized facilities around the world. In 2015, after a full reconstruction of the facility, we started production at our state-of the-art plant in Rosyth, Fife. Here we carry out value-added processing, producing both fresh and smoked salmon for our consumers.  
We are currently looking to identify a suitably experienced Shift Leader within the packaging area of our production facility with strong foresight and organisation skills to undertake the role. Our Shift Leaders support our production managers in the day to day management of their operational areas, making sure they are efficient and effective in their performance of production, quality, health and safety and service targets. You’ll assist in managing and developing the team, championing continuous development and pursuing excellent performance standards. The successful candidate will drive and deliver measurable improvement and be willing to transfer to and develop in all production areas of the site. 
Shift Leaders report directly to the area production manager; with no direct reports, they’ll have shared responsibility for maintaining health and safety, food safety, conduct, performance and attendance standards on their own shift of up to 100 people in their area. In the absence of the Production Manager, the Shift Leader will be responsible for all people and performance during this time.  
The successful candidate will have experience with chilled, short shelf life food production and understand the pace and complexities that come with this.
