Shift Coordinator
 
to join the Logistics team at our factory in Bjugn. 
  
The position offers exciting and challenging task in an expansive, hectic and international environment. The Factory runs 24/7 and operates in a five – shift pattern.
 
The successful candidate main tasks will be: 
Working in our MRP system receiving goods. 
Creating manufacturing orders. 
Reporting production when an order is finalized. 
Filling of raw materials. 
Loading and unloading vessels. 
Bagging and whatever tasks might be on the agenda.  
Ensure adherence to Company Health and Safety policies.  
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.   
Participating in our LEAN / 5s activities to further develop quality and efficiency.  
  
Required qualifications: 
We expect you to have a good theoretical education. Long experience can partly compensate for lack of formal competence.   
You should be hard working and committed to your work task – always focusing on getting the job done in the best possible way.  
Flexibility is a must – conditions can change rapidly to meet new customer demands, changed arrival times for vessels due to weather conditions and whatever might happen in a continuous operation working at high pace with huge volumes and partly depending on weather conditions.  
You must have good computer skills and feel comfortable working in front of a screen. If you have previous experience from M3 it is an advantage, but not a must.   
Attention to details is a demand. You must be careful and detail oriented – precision is a key word.  
Good English skills are necessary – much of both written and oral communication is in English and the company language is English.  
Good social and communication skills are necessary – you will be in the center of communication in your shift – giving and taking information to both colleagues in your own department as well as departments around you. 
You need to be flexible and capable of shift works.  
Driving license class B.  
Good computer skills.  
HSE orientated and independent with good corporation skills.
