Operations & Customer Service Controller
Are you passionate about providing a quality customer service and working to high standards, and want to work for a dynamic company where no two days are the same? You could be the person we're looking for!
Our processing activities take place in their own specialized facilities around the world. In 2015, after a full reconstruction of the facility, we started production at our state-of the-art plant in Rosyth, Fife. Here we carry out value-added processing, producing both fresh and smoked salmon for our consumers.
We are currently looking to identify a suitably experienced person to join our team as an Operations and Customer Service Controller. As a new role to the business, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to come on board and make it their own. As a liaison between our Customers and Production, it’s vital this person is accurate in the communication and their confidence in dealing with Customers shines through. This person will make sure the Customers know their products are in safe hands.
On a day to day basis, the Operations and Customer Service Controller will keep our Customers up to date with daily production planning and report any service issues we encounter. Reporting to our Factory Manager, they’ll also be involved in supporting our teams in launching new products, the promotional calendar and SKU changes.
As we have a responsibility to make sure we provide good customer service to our customers, part of the role will include making sure we have the right people in the right places within Production. Liaising with our Agency Coordinators the role will assist in effectively managing and allocating labour resource to ensure maximum business efficiency.
We’re looking for someone who is a team player who can be flexible to meet deadlines and adapt to change at short notice. Our ideal candidate is someone who has great communication skills and can influence decision making.
Due to the nature of the role, we are particularly looking for the successful candidate to have customer service experience but also the ability to communicate effectively throughout each area of the supply chain. While manufacturing experience is not essential, an understanding of production planning would be beneficial.
The successful candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
In return we offer an attractive salary, bonus, pension and training and development opportunities.
