Infrastructure/Automation Support Specialist
Position Summary: 
Responsible for the streamlined operation of the local IT systems in alignment with the business objectives of MHUSA.  Works with IT Manager in IT-related activities and leads the continuous improvement of IT systems, structures, policies and procedures.  Works closely with maintenance staff to maintain and develop new automation projects.  Works with key members to identify issues and helps facilitate the timely solution.  Helps ensure MH Corporate guidelines and standards are met on a daily basis. 
Installation of new server hardware 
New software Testing and Installation 
Technical Evaluation of various automation equipment 
Maintenance of the  Disaster recovery solution including Backups 
Continuous improvement of LAN 
Collaborate with other MHUSA sites to implement clustering 
Single point of contact for all company cellphones 
Improves existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications; evaluating proposed changes; recommending changes; making modifications. 
Maximizes use of hardware and software by training users; interpreting instructions; answering questions. 
Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions. 
Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions. 
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
Required Qualifications/Competencies (education, skills and abilities): 
Education & Knowledge: 
Minimum 5+ years related work experience  
Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems. 
Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. 
Extensive application support experience. 
Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. 
Proficient in HyperV. 
Familiar with PLCs and other manufacturing equipment.  
Ability to handle help desk issues with respect 
Strong understanding of project management principles. 
Ability to source and implement automation projects. 
Excellent interpersonal skills. 
Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required. 
Highly self-motivated and directed. 
Keen attention to detail. 
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
