£19,555 to £24,808 per annum
Due to the current incumbent moving to another post within the Company, we are currently looking to employ a Deckhand for our 19m work vessel the Sarah Ann. The vessel will be based in Craobh Haven and will provide a valuable service to the Company’s sites throughout the West Coast of Scotland, assisting with sea lice treatments, net changing and other general farm duties across our seawater sites in Scotland. Candidates should hold relevant certificates for sea survival, radio, first aid and firefighting.
In addition, the successful applicant will also be required to carry out duties including feeding, net changing and other general farm tasks, and be willing to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job. The shift pattern for this post is two weeks on/two weeks off. Applications are invited from individuals who have a positive approach to this type of work and who are competent swimmers.
