PROCESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
£35 – 45K DOE

Based at our state of the art processing plant in Rosyth, we are seeking an individual to become part of a successful, market-leading group with a global structure and a close partnerships with a number of the major UK retailers. Our ambitious plans make for an exciting, fast-moving and rapidly developing business.
The successful candidate will join our Development Team and manage an important portfolio of projects. In this role you will take responsibility for new products from concept handover to launch, including artwork and packaging development. In addition, you will be expected to drive the innovation agenda on process development and optimisation.
Working alongside the creative team advising on process capability, you will need to have a good understanding of product cost structures, an ability to propose production processes for new concepts and a creative but systematic approach to problem-solving. You will have significant contact with both customer technical and development teams.
We’re looking for someone with a keen interest in food and a drive for high standards. Our ideal candidate will have an established track record in product and process development in a fresh food manufacturing environment with experience in meat, fish or poultry being preferred. You should also have experience working with major retailers and should be Food Science/Technology qualified, or similar.
As a manager in our business you should possess the ability to lead by example.
