Based at our state of the art processing plant in Rosyth, we are seeking an individual to become part of a successful, market-leading group with a global structure and a close partnerships with a number of the major UK retailers. Our ambitious plans make for an exciting, fast-moving and rapidly developing business.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for improving utilisation, increasing efficiency and the integration of business systems, providing detailed reports to support decision making within the business and assisting in the development and reporting of management information, including KPIs, in each business area. In addition to this, the role holder will have ownership of the ERP system at site level and will be responsible for ensuring quality and standards are defined and in place whilst managing issues as they occur by correcting the system and assisting users.
We’re looking for someone with the ability to influence, motivate and generate team working among business unit colleagues and at group level, interacting with Corporate, Group IT and Finance and other sites as required. The ideal candidate will therefore have the communication skills that will allow you to develop and deliver effective training to employees including non-technical staff.
You will have significant experience in a similar role gained in manufacturing (FMCG would be advantageous) preferably with a major retail customer, and a demonstrable track record using major ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of supply chain and logistics systems and experience in Infor M3.
The right candidate will be good at process and data flow mapping and process redesign, with strong report writing skills, specifically Qlikview, MS Query using ODBC or OLEDB to interrogate data sources / MS Access.
