Market Research Officer

A role in market research is all about data. As the name suggests, you'll plan, implement, control, analyse and report on information that you gather. The data you collect will normally revolve around what people think about food, what they buy and eat. 
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand the business objectives 
  • You work with Project Managers to oversee the fieldwork initiative 
  • You design research questionnaires to discover the customers’ preferences 
  • You investigate the market activity by the most appropriate research methodology & techniques 
  • You design qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle 
  • You compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it  
  • You interprete data, you write reports, you make presentations with actionable recommendations 
  • You assess future trends 
 
Requirements:
 
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years within Market Research 
  • 1 to 3 years of food industry/sector experience 
  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies 
  • Written and oral communication abilities 
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis  
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in marketing, economy, business, mathematics, or the sciences 
  • Fluently French, English
